Ukrainian troops are being trained in the UK to use the armored vehicles donated to the country, says Boris Johnson

Boris Johnson said that the British government donated armored vehicles to be used by the Ukrainian soldiers.

During his trip to India, Johnson said that the UK and Poland are training Ukrainians in the use of armored vehicles.

The UK has pledged to ship 120 armored patrol vehicles to Ukraine, of which 80 are mobility vehicles such as the Mastiff and the Wolfhound. The British army said these vehicles serve combat, combat support, and combat service roles.

The other 40 include ambulances, armored command vehicles, and combat reconnaissance vehicles.

The training of Ukrainian troops on UK soil was part of a move to give new types of advanced military equipment to its soldiers for the first time.

It is only sensible that they get training to use it best.

The US has said it would give Ukraine dozens of howitzers, a form of long-range artillery, and anti-tank drones.

The US will train Ukrainian soldiers on how to use howitzers, according to Pentagon spokesman John Kirby.

Kirby said that they don't believe it will take very long or require much detailed training to get them up to speed on American howitzers.

Increased Western involvement in the war has been signaled by the new promises of military aid. NATO member states have recently offered advanced air defense missiles and coastal defense systems.

The actions of Putin's regime are what is escalatory, according to Johnson's spokesman.
