Al Sobotka worked for the Detroit Red Wings for 51 years.

One man's quick relief unfairly got him relieved from his duties as a zamboni driver for the Detroit Red Wings. Al Sobotka, who has been cleaning the ice for the Motor City's professional hockey franchise for 51 years, has filed a discrimination lawsuit against the Red Wings' parent company.

Two months ago, Sobotka was fired due to incontinence. According to the lawsuit, Sobotka has a health condition that makes him pee frequently. The man couldn't get to a restroom fast enough so he urinated in a drain.

The tinkle began when he thought he was alone in the building. Sobotka was not the only one still working. Someone saw his bathroom stop and reported it. Someone told Sobotka that he was in trouble for urine problems. The lawyer for Sobotka claimed that he was fired without warning for the incident after a one-week suspension, making the former zamboni driver angry because of his constant need to piss.

He worked for the Detroit Red Wings in a variety of capacities, including, but not limited to, taking care of the locker rooms, maintaining the practice ice, and driving and maintaining the Zamboni.

The situation is a legal matter, according to Olympia Entertainment. Sobotka became a cult figure among the Red Wings fan base for waving around the octopuses that were thrown onto the ice. The lawyer for Sobotka claims that he was aware of his urinary issues.
