Sean Hannity is the longest-serving host in cable news history, having hosted for 25 years, six months and 15 days on Fox News.

In 1996, Hannity joined Fox's prime time lineup, co-hosting with Alan Colmes, which went head-to-head with Larry King Live, eventually overtaking King in the ratings.

In 2009, Hannity became the solo host of the 9 pm show on Fox News, which became the highest-rated show in all of cable news. The show is currently among the top five most- watched shows in cable news.

In August of last year, Sean Hannity's live interview with Donald Trump drew an audience of more than 5 million viewers.
