The pitcher was suspended for four games for tackling the batter after the home run, and the batter was suspended for two games for taunting.

The North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference suspended both players and many more from both teams because of the brawl.

The video showed the North Central Texas College player rounding third after his home run, but the pitcher from the other team leveled him with a violent blow to the midsection. The players ran onto the field.

Woodward could face expulsion from school as a result of the play.

The players who ran onto the field after the hit was the reason for most of the punishment handed out by the league office.

The league was suspended for two games for the team members who were in the dugout or the assistant coaches who stepped onto the field. Four additional players and assistant coaches were suspended.

The league said that if there isn't enough players for the next two games, North Central Texas will have to give up. The game that was stopped was ordered forfeited by both teams.

The teams are going to play this weekend.

We are shocked and disappointed at what happened in our game today, and we do not condone this type of behavior. The program we built has the highest of standards. We apologize to North Central Texas College and the fans of the baseball team. This type of behavior cannot be condoned.
