A 25-year-old Texas woman dropped her lawsuit against Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys.

According to The Dallas Morning News, Davis wants genetic testing to verify her claim.

Jay Gray, one of Davis' lawyers, said thatAlexandra wants to remove any doubts about her father.

Attorneys for Jones asked for the suit to be dismissed but did not address the paternity claim. A representative for Jones didn't say anything.

The lawsuit claimed that Jones had a relationship with Cynthia Davis, who was a ticket counter agent for American Airlines in Little Rock, Arkansas. The baby was born in 1996.

According to court documents, Jones would support Davis and her mother financially as long as they did not publicly identify him as her father. Jones denied being the father at the time of the agreement.

Gene and Jones were married in 1963. They all have front office roles with the Cowboys. The team president is Jerry Jones.
