Nashville, San Jose, Columbus, and Colorado are some of the teams that will be in the NHL Global Series and NHL Global Series Challenge. The NHL is playing regular-season games outside of North America for the first time since 2019.
The O2 Arena in Czech Republic will be the site of the first two games of the season. It will be the first time that the Predators will play a regular-season game in Europe, after they played two in Japan in 2000. Tomas Hertl is one of the biggest Czech-born stars.
The two teams will play a pair of games in Tampere, Finland. Colorado has a Finn in Mikko Rantanen, while the Blue Jackets have a Finn in Patrik Laine.
There will be exhibition games in Switzerland and Germany in the NHL Global Series Challenge. The Bern PostFinance Arena will host the game between the Preds and Bern on October 3. Roman will be playing in his hometown.
The Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany, will be the site of the game between the Sharks and the Berlin team.
The Nashville and San Jose teams will complete their training camps in Europe prior to their games in the Czech Republic.
