The idea of paying for a fancy stationary bike so that you can earn coins is ridiculous, according to project literature.

According to the press release, the Metabike and Cardiocoin project has verified 43,744 Km of exercise through 25,712 workouts over 7,450 hours of exercise, and users have received rewards worth around $2,500.

We'll be interested to see where it goes, but we don't know if people can figure out how to game the system. Exercise should be its own reward.
