According to cops, Archie Eversole was shot in the jaw while he was asleep and died from his wounds.

According to the police report. Archie told police that someone kicked in his bedroom door and that he woke up with a gunshot to his face, but he could not see who shot him.

The doctor says the police asked if the shooter was still in the home and he nodded his head yes. Cops asked if he knew who it was, but Eversole wouldn't answer, and then he started to fade in and out of consciousness.

Archie was rushed to the hospital and died on April 3.

There was blood all over the bed, pillows and the wall, as well as fresh blood covering the front door and a trail of blood from the stairs to Eversole's room.

According to the report, police noticed that he had blood on his socks, but he initially told them he was fine. He told police that he was limping from a blisters on his foot.

As we reported, Krause was arrested for murder and is currently in custody.

Archie's hit song "We Ready" was recorded when he was 17 and has become a popular anthem for sporting events.
