The release date of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse's sequel has been pushed back by Sony. The release of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has been moved up to June 2nd, 2023. The Spider-verse sequel was supposed to arrive on April 8th.

Christopher Miller, the writer and producer of Across the Spider-Verse, said that the team has been given more time to make it great.

The first of two Spider-Man films will be called Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and will be released on March 29th, 2024. Madame Web will be released on July 7th, 2023.

The highest grossing movie of last year was Spider-Man: No Way Home, starring Tom Holland. The debut trailer for Across the Spider-Verse was released last year.
