Have you ever looked up at the space above you on a city street and wondered if they should do something about it?

This isn't a bait question. According to Fast Company, Framlab eco-architects is proposing floating buildings that would use hover and fight climate change while they are at it.

The Oversky project is an attempt to build a new type of public square. The firm wants to create strong, light-weight enclosures by using rigid frames of carbon fiber.

The panels of the modules can be used on their own as part of more conventional building and infrastructure projects.

In his interview with Fast Co, Tjeldflaat admitted that the floating enclosures looked like something out of a high-concept minimalist game.

The architect calls it a technology which would include the carbon fiber cells of helium.

This kind of tech could be revolutionary because fossil fuels are the main fuel for air conditioning.

It may seem like a floating pipe dream, but with such fascinating scientific concepts behind this beautiful proposal, it could be worthwhile to investigate.

The architect wants to suspend buildings in the air. It isn't as impossible as it sounds.

They just finished the world and it's a bit terrifying.
