An old video shows the look of alarm and disgust on the face of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy when Donald Trump suggested that they get together with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

Zelenskyy and Trump had a meeting on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting made the news because of the release of a shocking memo of a call between the two, during which Trump pressured the Ukrainian leader to investigate Joe and Hunter Biden.

The video was re-posted on Tuesday by Heather Cox Richardson, a Boston College professor.

The account had been liked and liked a lot as of press time. The original video has been viewed more than 2 million times.

In the clip, Trump leans toward Zelenskyy and loudly says: "I really hope that you and President Putin can get together and solve your problem."

Russian troops were involved in small-scale military skirmishes in the Donbas region of Ukraine.

Trump said that it would be a tremendous achievement.

Zelenskyy looked shocked and disgust at the suggestion and did not reply to the US leader.

Zelenskyy's response was shown in a clearer picture in the zoom-in versions of the clip.

Zelenskyy was urged by Trump to investigate Joe and Hunter Biden. Zelenskyy responded to the questions by saying that he couldn't push anyone to carry out investigations.

After this meeting, Trump was impeached for the first time several months later for attempting to solicit Ukraine's interference in the 2020 election while withholding essential military aid to the country.
