Johnny Depp Testified That He's Not A “Maniac” Who Needs To Be High All The Time

Johnny Depp said that much of the accusations that he had a substance abuse problem were false.

The characterization of my substance, quote unquote, abuse that has been delivered by Miss Heard is grossly embellished and I am sorry to say, but a lot of it is just plainly false.

Heard's attorney called Depp a "monster" during the opening statements of the defamation trial.

The monster would come out when the man was drinking and taking drugs.

Heard was sued for defamation by Depp after she wrote about being a victim of abuse. The actor lost out on production deals because it was implied that he was the subject, even though he didn't name him.

The actor testified himself on Tuesday after his friends, family members, and people who have worked for him testified. He testified for most of the day, saying he was obsessed with the truth.

The Rum Diary was a film they both starred in. Heard was described as beingattentive, loving, smart, kind, funny and smart by him when he first met her.

When Heard kissed him, it felt like something that I shouldn't be feeling, and he was married at the time.

The two of them drank wine and kissed in his trailer after filming the scene. After the press tour for the movie, they started dating.

She seemed to be the perfect partner for me.

He described his childhood as interesting and something that he thought was normal until he reached a certain age. He said he was the new kid and it was never pleasant.

He said his mother was unpredictable and cruel.

The actor testified that he didn't feel like he was ready to hear those words.

When he was 11, he began to take his mother's pills and then he was introduced to marijuana. He said he never took any drugs to party, only to numb himself, and that he had done all the drugs he was aware of by the time he was 15.

While filming the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie, he hurt his back and a doctor prescribed him an opiate. He was worried about taking the medicine because he had seen friends become addicted to pills. He too was addicted after his fears were realized.

He said that he was bit by the snake.

While he was in a relationship with Heard, he started to lose weight.

He said that he was not a maniac who needed to be high or loaded all the time.
