Robson: Man United were always going to lose with that lineup (1:04)

The gap between Manchester United and the rest of the league looks like two or three thousand light years, according to the man.

The table shows a difference of 22 points, but in practical terms these two teams are completely different.

It was fitting that United barely got a sniff of a red shirt because they were so far away. They smell like success, something away fans from Manchester might not experience for a while.

The season is one game away from being over for the United supporters.

It is embarrassing, it is disappointing, and maybe even humiliating, according to Rangnick.

By the time the season is over, they could have accomplished something no other English team has done before: win the quadruple.

In one season, United have won the same number of trophies. It could be another 10 years before they win the next one if Manchester City andLiverpool continue their domination and United continue to be poorly run and poorly coached.

Is there two or three transfer windows? Yeah, right.

Bruno Fernandes said that the club and city need to be lifted to a new level by the next transfer windows. They have better players. There has to be a rebuild.

It is ready for the title. The difference of the level is not something that I need to be talking about. We have to look at ourselves from top to bottom to understand what is going wrong.

The fans of the club honor the player after the death of a baby.

It was obvious as early as the second minute what kind of night it was going to be. Alisson used his first touch to pass out to his defence and David de Gea used his first touch to punt the ball into the Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand without any pressure.

The tone for the game was set by it, as United panicked and Phil Jones was a third centre-back.

The first goal was scored by Luis Diaz after five minutes and the second goal was scored by Mohamed Salah after 22 minutes. Both were well-constructed and crisp, two things that have looked unfamiliar to the players.

Man United couldn't find another blue shirt. During the delay to the start of the second half, each completed pass was cheered loudly by the crowd.

When your rivals laugh at you, it is bad.

There was sarcastic applause 10 minutes into the second half when United finally had a shot after a brief spell when the visitors looked vaguely competent, but a goal from Sadio Mane and another from Salah made it four. If you include the Reds' demolition at Old Manchester in October, you have a 9-0 aggregate score.

On Tuesday, they risked boredom because they were so much better.

In the first half, we were clearly better, and keeping concentration is important.

I am not here to humiliate opponents. I am not interested in that, we did what we had to do. If the supporters want to celebrate, it is something for them. I know it won't last forever. They will hit back.

The beautiful game is here. Leagues, tournaments and teams can be watched.

The prediction about how long it might be before United can matchLiverpool is a hope, rather than an expectation. It relies on the idea that the club have a viable plan for player recruitment going forward and ignores the fact that they spent a combined 130 million dollars on two players in the last year.

While Wan-Bissaka isn't even a regular for United, he wouldn't get anywhere near this team if he were.

In six minutes as a substitute, 19-year-old Mejbri showed more fight and desire than most of his teammates combined. If he is signed up to sort out this mess, he must love a challenge.

The teams heading in opposite directions were mismatches on Tuesday. United are on course for their worst points total since the formation of the premier league, whileLiverpool are in the hunt to reach new heights.

The gap between the two is very small. They may be on different planets.
