Deebo Samuel is holding up a potential new deal with the San Francisco 49ers, according to Adam Schefter.

San Francisco would pay Deebo Samuel on the next day, according to a report. I think that Deebo is not interested in getting a deal done.

Samuel removed mentions of the 49ers from social media.

The 49ers are ready, and Deebo Samuel has put a halt to everything.

The final year of Samuel's contract will have him with a $4.9 million cap hit, which is 34th in the league.

He earned his first Pro Bowl selection and was named first-team All-Pro in his first season with the team. He was one of the most versatile offensive players in the league, with 1,405 receiving yards, 361 rushing yards and 14 touchdown.

In the playoffs, the 49ers had 291 yards from scrimmage and three touchdown.

According to Albert Breer of MMQB, San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan said he would recommend an extension for Samuel.

Samuel will not participate in the team's summer program without a new contract.

Samuel might not be ready to sign a long-term deal with the 49ers.
