Cara Hotel Marketing has hired Blue Bay Travel's Tasha Smith as its business development executive, just over a year after she returned to work for the long-haul operator.
Lauren Mack, business development manager at Cara Hotel Marketing, said she had been impressed with Smith's work over the past few years.
She will bring enthusiasm and passion for travel to the role.
Cara Hotel Marketing is the UK representation agency for the AMR Collection, which has properties in the Caribbean, Central America and Europe.
Smith joined Blue Bay Travel as a sales advisor and later became the business development manager.
She was promoted to business development manager after returning to Blue Bay Travel as trade support team leader.
Blue Bay Travel will be sad to see Tasha go, but we know she is a pure BDM at heart.
This move will allow her to focus on that. I would like to thank the Midcounties Co-operative agents and the more than 100 new trade agents who have joined the Blue Bay Hotels family.
The head of operations for Blue Bay Travel said: "Tasha has been a great asset to my team and played an important part in the set-up of the trade support team."
We wish her the best of luck in her new role and thank her for her dedication and enthusiasm over the past year.
Wilson will be the point of contact until the tour operator finds a replacement for Smith.
