Former world number one Ashleigh Barty has fuelled speculation she may attempt a top-level career in a third sport by signing up to for a golf exhibition.
The Manchester City boss and the Olympic gold medal winning swimmer are two of the stars taking part.
Barty told the Sydney Morning Herald that it was a unique opportunity to have fun, test yourself and compete.
I hope my participation in the series will encourage more women and girls to play golf around the world.
Barty is an amateur golfer with a reported handicap of four.
Robert was an amateur and considered turning professional.
Barty was a professional cricket player in 2015.
She has previously suggested that she would not attempt similar in golf, telling the Courier Mail earlier this month that she "had a good laugh" about the speculation.
Barty is writing a series of children's books.
Liberty National in New Jersey will be the site of the first event in the Icon Series in June.
