Jen Psaki Ribs Fox's Peter Doocy: You're No Doc And Don't Even (Usually) Play One On TV

The White House press secretary poked fun at the Fox News reporter on Monday, telling him: "You're not a doctor."

She said that you don't play one on TV most days.

It was very bad.

After a federal judge ruled on Monday that masks were no longer required in the White House briefing room, the latest take was on why masks had been required on airplanes.

Psaki, like a teacher in a grade school classroom, explained that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has different recommendations for different locations and situations.

I'm aware that Peter is not a doctor. She said that he doesn't play one on TV most days.

The masking guidance is green, yellow and red. We are in a green zone in Washington, D.C. so they are not suggesting masking.

The press secretary explained that this is based on health considerations and data that the CDC looks at about transmissibility as we have seen an increase in cases on airplanes.

The White House had called for a two-week extension on mask mandates on planes to look at the data before issuing new recommendations.
