It is an incredible achievement to finish the Boston Marathon, but crossing the finish line meant more to Henry Richard.

Nine years after his brother died in the Boston Marathon bombings, Richard finished the race.

It has been a long time since I was here so I am happy I could finally be here. I know Martin would have been happy to finish it, so I can only think about that. I did it for my family and myself.

Henry received his medal from Meb Keflezighi, who won the Boston Marathon. His parents and sister were at the finish line.

He honored Martin by raising money for the Martin Richard Foundation, which promotes inclusion, kindness and peace, and he ran with Team MR8 as well.
