The next two ships in the fleet will run on hydrogen and carry more guests than other vessels.
According to Cruise Critic, Chairman and founder of the cruise line said that the ocean-going ships will be longer than the vessels in the fleet to carry hydrogen fuel.

The hydrogen-powered ships will measure 11 meters longer than their fleet mates, bolster no more than 25 additional cabins, and limit the passenger count to less than 1,000. Liquid hydrogen and fuel cells will be used to power the vessel.
Most of the same elements, designs and options found throughout the cruise line's fleet will be found in the larger vessels.
The details of the hydrogen-powered ships were revealed by Hagen during a sailing from the Caribbean to New York City on the cruise line's first expedition vessel. The ship is getting ready for the Great Lakes season.
The eighth, ninth and 10th ships in the fleet will be delivered by the end of the year.
