If you have been looking for a frill-free tablet, you will want to act quickly. Amazon is selling Apple's newest iPad at an all-time low price of $290 after an instant checkout coupon. You will have to wait until early May for delivery on the 64GB model in silver. This is an exceptional deal that beats some of the bargains we have seen for past models.

The value for money of the iPad makes it attractive. It is fast for the price, has a solid screen and lasts a long time on the battery. It is easier to fit more of your household into the frame during a video call, even if they are in the background, with the wide-angle camera on this newest model. You might not need more than this if you take into account the upgraded base storage, robust app ecosystem and iPadOS 15's better multitasking.

The same issues still apply. The design of the iPad feels old compared to newer models. You won't get thinner tablets, faster processors, and improved cameras. There is no support for the Magic Keyboard or the second-generation Pencil. The 10.2-inch iPad is still a very capable device for many everyday tasks, and there's a chance you don't need those extras.
