Google Lens for desktop Chrome picks up one of its best features on mobile

• Google Lens for desktop Chrome has gained a new set of features that bring some of its best mobile features to your computer.
• The image recognition tech now lets you copy texts on an image or translate them.
• It is available on Chrome 100 for Chrome OS, Windows, and macOS.

Thanks to a new update that bolsters its function on the web, it is now a lot more useful on the desktop version of Chrome.

The reverse image search option was added to desktop Chrome last year. The feature allows you to right-click a picture and use the search feature.

You will be taken to a search results page with the image in question on the left and the search results on the right. You could only do that until now. Thanks to three new buttons at the bottom of the image being examined, you can now do more with Lens.

On mobile, you can use the search button to find the part of an image you want to learn more about. You can use the text button to find the detected text on the internet.

You have the option of choosing portions of the text or the entire thing. The translate button does what it says. It has the same interface as the mobile version, with the translation appearing directly over the image and the translated text displayed on the right sidebar. You can translate the entire text and open the web version to get the full experience.

The arrival of these features on the desktop web is a welcome change, as they have been available on the mobile version of Chrome. You should be able to access this update if you use the best Chromebooks, Windows PCs, and Mac computers.

The button at the top of the website was added to browse the web for relevant images.

The new multisearch feature, which lets you search for objects using a combination of text and images, was added a week ago.
