A friend persuaded her to go to the festival with a group of his guy friends, and among them was Jeronie Alcantara, who is now her husband.

Jeronie and Lily enjoyed several sets throughout the weekend, capped by a performance from Dr. Dre and the famous hologram of Tupac on Sunday. They attended five more music festivals that year.

Marking 10 years since they crossed paths at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, the couple just got married in Las Vegas and had extra reason to celebrate at the festival.

The couple, who live in San Diego, came to the site with some friends. They need to get their front-line spot on Thursday.

The van was covered in cardboard for people to write well wishes to the newlyweds, with a message from Jeronie on the dashboard. She married her 10 years later.

They call their group Campsite Friends because they are veterans of many music festivals. Their veteran status as festivalgoers was clear by their setup, with plenty of space for 16 people, along with lots of drinks, snacks and shade.

The couple hadn't even gotten a chance to cut into a wedding cake until Sunday, after coming straight from Las Vegas to Indio to get their spot.

The lineup doesn't matter at all.

The newlyweds will be back for the festival again in the future.
