Customers who are vulnerable to carbon dioxide will no longer be able to get special operating hours at Costco.

According to an update on its website, Sunday is the last day the warehouse giant will reserve an hour in the mornings for seniors, healthcare workers, and first responders.

In order to avoid larger crowds in the warehouses, Costco set aside one hour a day for those customers. In July 2020, the special hours were reduced to two days a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The company decided to get rid of the special operating hours completely before it decided to keep them a few weeks later.

The special operating hours were available to members age 60 or older, hospital employees with a hospital ID, police officers, EMTs, and firefighters.

Early shopping availability in all US and Puerto Rico locations will no longer be offered as part of the latest update. There are two in New York, one in California and one in Hawaii.

Members who don't want to shop during regular hours can visit the website for all their shopping needs.
