Fruit Stand Workers United can petition the National Labor Relations Board to hold an election if at least 30 percent of the store's workers are interested in unionization.

Amazon's JFK8 fulfillment center on Staten Island is one of the places that have begun to unionize. At the beginning of April, a majority of workers voted to form the first-ever Amazon union. Despite spending $4.3 million on anti-union consultants, the effort was successful.
