Spring has sprung and the moon has a message for us.

On the evening of April 16, 2022, the full moon rose in amazing fashion. Easter for Christians, Passover for Jews, and Hanuman Jayanti for Hindus were all celebrated as a result of the lunar event.

Why is April's full moon called the Full Pink Moon?

The Full Pink Moon is not actually pink. NASA says the Farmer's Almanac uses a Native American naming system for full moons. The plant moss pink is a native of the eastern U.S. and blooms early in the spring. The plant is called creeping phlox, moss phlox, or mountain phlox.
