Kimetsu No Yaiba became a big deal last year. During its theatrical run, Mugen Train made plenty of money and became Japan's most financially successful movie in their box office history. The adaptation of Koyoharu Gotouge's dark fantasy manga by Studio ufotable has met the demands of people who love shonen.
The third season was announced back in February, but it was during the Demon Slayer Anniversary event that the footage of what's to come was revealed. There is a tease of the new season at the very end of the trailer, but most of it focuses on the bigger moments of the show thus far. The beloved swordsmith Arc will travel to a village of swordsmiths to find the man who made his Nichirin Sword. That's the perfect time for demons to swoop in and try to kill him.
The Slayersmith Village arc will bring back some supporting characters who haven't been seen in a while. Slayersmith is the only confirmed arcs for the third season, Slayer's comic is shorter than My Hero Academia, which ends in May 2020 at 205 chapters. It is not clear if the rest of the season will adapt the tenth.
The third season of Demon Slayer will be released soon.
