Russia warns of 'unpredictable consequences' if US continues to arm Ukraine

Russia sent a note to the State Department asking the US to stop sending military aid to Ukraine.

The document was first reported by the Washington Post.

As the Biden administration prepared to announce the latest round of aid to Ukraine, the note was sent.

The new capabilities include armored personnel carriers. President Joe Biden said in a Wednesday press release that he had approved the transfer of additional helicopters.

The State Department said earlier this month that the Biden administration has sent more than $1 billion in aid to Ukraine.
