The Washington Post reported that the White House Press Secretary took a dig at Fox News, saying that questions the network gives reporter Peter Doocy might make him sound like a stupid son of a bitch.
During a Thursday night interview on Pod Save America, host Dan Pfeiffer asked guest Psaki if he was a stupid son of a bitch or if he was a stupid son of a bitch on TV.
He works for a network that provides people with questions that are nothing personal to any individual, including Peter Doocy, but might make anyone sound like a stupid son of a bitch.
The question was in reference to the hot-mic moment in January when President Joe Biden called Doocy the same phrase after asking him about inflation. Biden apologized to Doocy over the phone.
In a statement to Insider, a Fox News spokesman said they do not give questions to the reporter.
In his role as White House correspondent, Peter Doocy is supposed to elicit truth from power for the American public. His questions are his own, he is a terrific reporter, and we are very proud of his work.
The relationship seems to have smoothed over after the two clashed over the past two years.
A representative for Psaki didn't respond to the request for comment.
