Mark Zuckerberg's social media giant formerly known as Facebook has announced plans to monetize its work-in-progress Metaverse, and creators are irate at how large a cut the company intends to take.
As CNBC reported earlier in the week, Facebook is letting some creators sell assets in its Metaverse. Meta confirmed to CNBC that it will be getting a flabbergasting 47.5 percent cut, though the company didn't list the fees.
