It has been reported that Russia sent a formal warning to the US not to send more arms to Ukraine.

According to the Washington Post, Moscow warned the US and Nato that their deliveries of weapons systems to Ukraine were adding fuel to the fire.

The state department did not confirm any diplomatic correspondence, but made clear that the US would continue to send arms to Ukraine.

There is a complete guide in maps, video and pictures.

We can confirm that, along with our allies and partners, we are giving billions of dollars worth of security assistance to Ukraine, which they are using to defend their country against Russia.

The Russian embassy in Ukraine did not reply to the request for comment.

Since the start of the war, the US has sent over $2 billion in military aid to Ukraine. The Biden administration made clear that it was sending heavy and sophisticated equipment, including helicopter, aerial and marine drones, and long-range 155mm howitzers, while training Ukrainian soldiers.

The US is sending more anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles to help the war effort in Ukraine. The Russian Black Sea fleet flagship Moskva was sunk by the Ukrainians. More anti-ship missiles will be sent by the UK. Military experts believe that the anti-ship missile systems of Ukraine have deterred Russia from attempting an amphibious landing around Odesa.

The German chancellor had heavy weaponry for Ukraine.

It's not clear if Moscow has sent diplomatic notes to European countries. The German vice-chancellor, Robert Habeck, appeared to back down on his demands for the Ukrainian army to be provided with what it needed as soon as possible.

All Nato countries have ruled out the use of heavy weapons in reprisals against Russia.

The Czech Republic has already sent T-72 tanks and tracked armored personnel carriers while the US is sending howitzers.

  • The military now says that the explosions on the base in eastern Syria that injured several service members were not caused by indirect fire. The April 7 attack is believed to have been carried out by one or more individuals at an ammunition holding area and shower facility on the base, according to a statement issued Thursday by the Operation Inher. The reference to deliberate placement of explosives on the base appeared to raise the possibility of a lapse of base security.
