Jerry Seinfeld's TV Mom Liz Sheridan Dead at 93

The actress who played Jerry's mom on "Seinfeld" has died.

Just 5 days after her 93rd birthday, Liz passed away peacefully in her sleep.

Liz played Helen for the entire run of the show. She is the only non-central character who played. Helen and her husband, Morty, lived in Florida. She played a very over-protective mom.

Liz played the eccentric neighbor, Mrs. Ochmonek, on ALF.

Liz was an accomplished Broadway actress, appearing in 12 productions on the Great White Way.

She wrote a book about her affair with James Dean. The book will be turned into a film.

Liz was a go-go dancer in the 50s and loved to sing and perform.

Liz is survived by her family.

She died at 93.
