British Airways is offering 1,000 welcome bonuses to cabin crew as the airline suffers with staff shortages.
As airlines and airports around the world are struggling with a lack of workers due to the sudden boom in travel demand, the London-based carrier is hoping its 1,000 incentive will quickly bring qualified flight attendants to the company.
The airline is looking for cabin crew who hold a current or Stansted airside ID.
For candidates who are offered a role through this campaign, we are offering a welcome bonus of 1,000 and 500.
The recruits must be able to start work before the summer to be eligible for the cash bonus.
The welcome bonus is not available to applicants with a notice period that prevents them from starting training before July 2022.
British Airways has had to cancel around 1,200 flights this year due to staff shortages and Covid-related absences.
The hub of the airline is advertising for 12,000 more staff.
The summer travel season is expected to peak in 2022, according to the airport.
