TOP STORY: Ten Hag to sanction Ronaldo's Man United exit

According to the Daily Star, the next Manchester United manager will be the man from the Netherlands, and now it has been revealed that he won't include the player in his plans.

One of the first decisions that the Dutch manager made was to allow the departure of United fan favourite and iconRonaldo, who Ten Hag doesn't feel fits into his playing structure.

The Portugal star returned to Old United last summer after making a stunning return from Italy. He has 18 goals on his comeback, but he hasn't been able to lead the side back into trophy contention.

In the past 13 games, he has scored four goals, but he has the option to extend his stay by a year. However, that decision could be taken away from him as Ten Hag prepares to make a change in his first summer in the hot seat.

PAPER GOSSIP

According to Kicker, the two German giants are competing for the services of left-footed central defender Nico Schlotterbeck. He could be the perfect replacement for Schlotterbeck, though they are both interested in his signature. The transfer fee for the 22-year-old defender could be as high as 25 million dollars.

In an interview with Tuttomercatoweb, Torino president Urbano Cairo said he believes that Belotti could leave the club for free in the summer. AC Milan, Napoli and Atalanta are all interested in signing the 28-year-old forward, who will be a free agent this summer.

The prospect of signing Richarlison was discussed internally by Manchester United. Should United make an official approach, the CAA Base Agency could work on his behalf. Richarlison could be one of many to leave Goodison Park should the club get demoted. The confirmation of the new manager will affect any transfer targets, but it is thought that Darwin Nunez could be a target.

According to AS, Real Madrid are confident of signing AS Monaco star Aurelien Tchouameni. A number of clubs are interested in the 22-year-old, who has been a key figure for the Ligue 1 side in the last two seasons. Real are trying to get his signature. The Monegasques are said to be seeking a transfer fee of more than 50m for the France international, and the two clubs are making progress in their negotiations.

According to the Sun, Manchester United and the other two English clubs are in a battle with German giants for the services of Max Aarons. The England youth international has two years left on his contract at Carrow Road, but the Canaries may feel the time is right to say goodbye to him. A bid of 20 million dollars could be enough to lure him away from Norfolk this summer, despite the fact that he has remained loyal to the club.
