There are a lot of things that make the world of PS4's Horizon Forbidden West incredibly good. Aloy is a dynamic hero. The global story is a mystery. The amazing robot dinosaurs are the thing that I love most about the world of Horizon.
They are simply called machines, which is a much better name for them. Isn't it just sound cooler? I've spent 100 hours in the world of Horizon Forbidden West fighting these things. The main story took forty years to complete, but after that, it was all about sidequests, upgrade weapons, finding relics, and killing a ton of robot dinosaurs. Some of the best weapons and armors in the game still scare me even after fully upgraded. Others do not. I thought it was time to rank the 10 robot dinosaurs that I find the most terrifying.
I disqualified two machines, Specters and Tallnecks. The Tallnecks aren't hostile, even if they do in fact rule.
