Details: Hilton Honors Offering Up To 3x Points This Summer

The global promotions of the hotel chain, Hilton Honors, is an amazing job. There is always a global promotion offered by the loyalty program. The current promotion is valid through May 1, 2022, and we have just learned of the promotion that launches on May 2, 2022.

Hilton Honors offering 2,500 bonus points per stay (current)

The current global promotion is called Points Unlimited and with it, members can earn 2,500 bonus points per stay.

There are more details to be aware of.

• The promotion is valid for stays between January 1 and May 1, 2022 (you must check-out by May 1 to be eligible)
• Registration is required prior to your first eligible stay, though it’s fine if you booked prior to registration
• There’s no limit to how many bonus points you can earn, you start earning rewards with the first stay, and there’s no minimum stay required
• It can take up to six to eight weeks for bonus points to post, though they’ll typically post much faster than that
• You can earn bonus points even on award stays

With the More Nights, More Points promotion, members can earn double points on all stays, and triple points on stays of three or more nights.

• The promotion is valid for stays between May 2 and September 5, 2022 (you must check-out by September 5 to be eligible)
• Registration is required prior to your first eligible stay, though it’s fine if you booked prior to registration
• There’s no limit to how many bonus points you can earn, you start earning rewards with the first stay, and there’s no minimum stay required to earn double points
• It can take up to six to eight weeks for bonus points to post, though they’ll typically post much faster than that
• You can earn bonus points even on award stays

How generous are the promotions? The math is pretty easy on the current points unlimited promotion. I value the points at just under half a penny each, so to me 2,500 points are worth about $12. I view it in a different way.

• This promotion is decent for a short stay at an inexpensive property, while it’s lackluster for longer stays, or stays at more expensive properties
• On the plus side, this is great for award stays, since you can earn bonus points even when redeeming points

I would consider the More Nights, More Points promotion to be much more lucrative.

• This promotion offers an incremental 10x points per dollar spent on all stays, and an incremental 20x points per dollar spent on stays of three or more nights
• When all is said and done (as I’ll explain below), a Hilton Honors Diamond member paying with the Hilton Aspire Card could be earning up to 54x points per dollar spent

There isn't another hotel group that gives as generous of a promotion as Hilton does.
