The last TV vehicle for the very odd comedy stylings of the very odd men in The Kids In The Hall was broadcasted on TV.
Kids In The Hall is back on TV, with a new trailer that shows them getting dug out of the grave that the original show was dumped into in 1995. The trailer takes as its framework a couple of jagoff business guys, with McKinney doing a spin on his famous Lorne Michaels impression, to explain what Amazon wants. Nothing controversial, thoughtful, or gross, of course.
The green band and red band versions of the promo are available, depending on how much you want to hear McDonald muse on the existence of a penile stigmata. You might want to check out both trailers since the Green Band replaced some of the guys with more grosser characters, like McKinney and the Eradicator. The team is definitely playing at least some of the hits because we get a glimpse of the Chicken Lady and a blood-soaked Dave Foley surgeon.
The revival of KITH was announced by Amazon in March of 2020 and began shooting last year. The show will make its debut on the service on May 13.
