According to the SEC filing, Musk offered to buy the company for $54.20 per share in cash.

The letter Musk sent to Taylor was quoted in the filing. In the letter, Musk tells Taylor that he would need to reconsider his position as a shareholder if the offer is not accepted.

The voice script that appears to involve an oral message delivered by Musk to Taylor is in the SEC filing.

If the deal doesn't work, Musk would need to reconsider his position as a shareholder.

In his letter to Taylor, Musk said that he invested in the service as he believed it could be a platform for free speech around the globe.

The company will not thrive or serve this societal imperative in its current form, since he made his investment. It needs to be a private company.

In April, Musk disclosed his stake in the micro-blogging site.

The company said it had received a proposal from Musk to acquire all of the company's outstanding common stock, and would carefully review it to determine the best course of action.
