It has been confirmed that theSwitch toAndroid app for the App Store is for the iPad. It is designed to help iPhone and iPad users import contacts, photos, calendars and video to an Android device. It shows users how to transfer photos and videos from one device to another.

The new app was dropped without a lot of fanfare. The app can only be found on the App Store with a direct link, and it is not mentioned on the website.

Google's 'Switch to Android' app is finally available on iOS

The current system requires you to back up photos, video, calendar and contacts using the app, which is a big improvement over the current system. It was first spotted last summer by 9to5Google in code tucked into the Data Transfer tool, and has since been seen in a more recent release with the ability to import iCloud video and photos into Google Photos.

Apple's equivalent app arrived way back in September 2015, so it took Google a long time to respond. You can use the Smart Switch app from the company, which helps you switch from an Apple device to a Galaxy device. It is only available on the Play Store or the store of its own company.
