The island country of Jerse y froze assets valued at more than $7 billion that are suspected to be connected to Roman Abramovich, the latest financial blow to the Russian tycoon as a result of the Ukraine war.

The Law Officer's Department in that country said that the States of Jersey Police executed search warrants at locations in Jersey suspected to be connected to the business activities of Abramovich.
