On the Ya Never Know podcast, Baker Mayfield explained that he was unhappy with the Cleveland Browns handling of his situation.

He sounded off on the criticism he received throughout the season.

The quarterback requested a trade in March and told Adam that it was in the interest of both sides to move on.

Cleveland has traded for a different player, but still has the same player on the roster.

Last month, head coach Kevin Stefanski said he was hoping that the quarterback situation would be resolved soon.

The team that had just one win over the previous two years was joined by the No. 1 overall pick in the draft. After the 2020 season, the team won a playoff game for the first time in twenty years.

The excitement was ruined by a disappointing 2021. In January, he had surgery to repair a torn labrum.

He's under contract with the Browns with an $18.9 million cap hit for 2022.

This leaves a lot of uncertainty for a player who has started 59 games over the last four seasons.
