According to a massive database of U.S. government reports, Americans have suffered from radiation burns, brain and nervous system damage, and even stillbirths because of encounters with ufologists.
There are more than 1,500 pages of documents in the database of documents related to the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program. Luis Elizondo, the program director for the AATIP, resigned from the Pentagon and released a number of videos of an aircraft moving in seemingly impossible ways to the media, despite the fact that the AATIP was never classified as a top secret.
The Sun filed a request for all documents related to the program after it was revealed. On April 5, 2022, the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency released more than 1,400 pages of material to The Sun.

There are reports on the biological effects of alien encounters on humans, as well as studies on advanced technologies such as invisibility cloaks and plans for deep space exploration and colonization, according to The Sun. The AATIP told The Sun that some portions of the documents were held for privacy and confidentiality concerns.
A report titled Anomalous Acute and Subacute Field Effects on Human and Biological Tissues was published in March 2010. Some of the injuries to human observers may be a threat to United States interests according to the report.
The report describes 42 cases from medical files and 300 cases where humans sustained injuries after encounters with unexplained vehicles. In some cases, humans showed burn injuries or other conditions related to electromagnetic radiation, the report said, and some of them appeared to have been inflicted by energy related propulsion systems.
It's not clear what kind of vetting the AATIP used to do. The full contents of the requested reports have not been shared by The Sun.
What does the Pentagon's new task force mean?
The report includes a list of alleged biological effects of unexplained phenomena on human observers between 1873 and 1994. There are reported effects of unexplained pregnancies, parental abduction, and experiences of perceived telepathy and levitation.
The report concludes that there is enough evidence to support a hypothesis that some advanced systems are already deployed.
