The wife of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has not been able to see him in more than a month.

Volodymyr and his team live in the President's office according to Olena Zelenska. We were forbidden to stay there due to the danger. For more than a month, we only communicate by phone.

Zelenskyy and his wife have refused to leave Ukraine.

Zelenskyy told CBS that he and his staff had been working and sleeping at their command center since the beginning of the invasion. It's not clear if his wife visited him in the early days of the war.

Zelenskyy told CBS that he and his team work in the dark because of fear of Russian troops. The network showed footage of blacked out hallways and mattresses on the floor where troops slept.
