Are you still waiting for a newTesla with higher capacity batteries? You will be able to get a Model Y with longer range once the company's employees have theirs. The Standard Range version of the Model Y uses 4680 cells and has a range of over 300 miles and a top speed of over 60 mph.
The 4680 cells are five times the capacity of the existing units. It means that the company can either use fewer batteries or extend the range of its vehicles.
The cheaper Model Y should be available in the coming weeks, at a time when all the carmakers are ready to offer us more EV options. Honda plans to launch 30 EV models by 2030, and we have news about Toyota's late-to-the-party electric car.

Toyota is almost ready to unleash its first true EV. The bZ4X SUV will cost $42,000 for the base model with a single charge. Toyota offers optional X-MODE and FWD drive to both, as well as more luxurious and soft-touch finishes, in the limited package, which starts at $46,700.
The bZ4X can be charged from low to full in about nine hours with a Level 2 charge. ChargePoint Home Flex will be sold by select dealers.

The governing body for world soccer is launching a streaming service. Men's and women's matches will be streamed and broadcast on FIFA+. Older games from previous World Cups will be hosted on the platform. We will see around 1,400 matches a month at launch, which is equivalent to 40,000 live games per year.
