The digital car key has arrived on some vehicles. The list of cars that are compatible with the feature has been expanded by the tech giant.
The list includes the BMW 1 to 8 Series, Z4, X5 to X7, iX, and i4. The support for the Genesis G90 has also been added.
The Genesis GV60 has had the feature for a while. The digital key is seeing an expansion with this change.
The feature isn't available to everyone just yet. Unless you own any of the best phones from the company, you won't be able to unlocks your vehicle.

When you are close to a compatible car, the feature will detect and unlocks it via UWB or NFC. Only the Genesis models are compatible with UWB and NFC. The vehicles only support one form of payment.
There is another limitation. Only customers in South Korea have access to the digital key.
The feature is expected to arrive in the United States and European markets soon. The launch of the GALAXY S21 series and the introduction of a digital key for smart homes and vehicles are some of the highlights of last year.
It is not the only option for users of the operating system. The feature is compatible with certain BMW models sold in the US, UK, and a few European countries.
