GOP Sen. Marsha Blackburn Gets Schooled On U.S. Geography After Border Wall Plea

The senator has been critical of the president's immigration policies, but her latest jab on social media was a disaster.

On Monday, the Republican senator said that people want a wall on the southern border.

Tennesseans want a wall on our southern border.

It was an allusion to former President Donald Trump's wall on the U.S.-Mexico border. The wall would have created a barrier between the US and Mexico.

Tennessee is more than 1,000 miles away from the U.S. southern border, which drew a chorus of jeers. None of the Volunteer State's southern neighbors border Mexico.

"You better not try to keep me from visiting my mom or picking up my white sauce in Alabama, Marsha", said singer-songwriter and four-time winner of the grammy.

Kevin M. Kruse said he was surprised that Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia hadn't already built one.

Ken Olin said on April 12 that it would happen in 2022.

The conservative is no stranger to gaffes on social media.

She appeared to confuse the U.S. Constitution with the Declaration of Independence. She said last year that we will never rewrite the Constitution of the United States because it has already been amended 27 times.

Last week, she came under fire after being asked to define the word "woman" during Jackson's confirmation hearings.

A rep for Blackburn said her definition of a woman was two X chromosomes, but she didn't say whether she considered women with only one X chromosomes or men with two X chromosomes to be women.
