There was controversy and uproar among some within the community after a booth selling Confederate flags and Donald Trump flags was displayed.

The flag lady had various flags for sale at her booth, including flags that support Donald Trump.

A picture of a booth was posted by a local mother. The post she posted to Facebook on April 7 has received over 300 comments and 200 shares.

TheConfederate flags don't belong in our schools, according to Weathersby, who has a child at the school.

Kevin Richards, the school's principal, was very apologetic, according to Weathersby. Richards told Weathersby that the booth was a mistake and that rules had been put in place to make sure it wouldn't happen again.

Richards told the Sun Herald that he will pre-approved all vendors in the future to prevent situations like this in the future.

The flags were not allowed, according to the Public Relations Specialist of the Harrison County School District.

The Harrison County School District does not allow political statements at school events. As soon as the issue at Woolmarket Elementary was brought to the attention of the principal, it was addressed.
