According to a former aide, Donald Trump launched into a profanity-laden rant at a meeting when the topic of Ukraine came up, accusing the country of trying to defeat him in the 2016 US election.
Charles Kupperman accused his former boss of being incapable of understanding global politics and the importance of Ukraine in an interview with The New York Times Magazine. Kupperman said it was all personal for him.
