The red logo for Marvel Studios' upcoming Disney+ series Ironheart against a black background.

The Ironheart series will be on Disney+ and will include a cast that includes Anthony Ramos and Lyric Ross, as well as the teen genius Riri Williams. Chinaka Hodge is the head writer. The show has gained a producing partner and a pair of directors.

According to Variety, Ironheart is part of the Walt Disney Company's overall TV deal. Why is that important? Ryan is attached to Irohheart as an executive producer along with Kevin Feige. The character of Riri was created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Mike Deodato, and she is a genius inventor who creates an advanced suit of armor following in the footsteps of Tony Stark.

Ironheart will have a split directing duties between Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes. It sounds like a great match to take the reins of stories that expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe because both directors have recently been featured on critically acclaimed television continuations of independent films.

Ironheart is part of the Disney+ line up along with She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Secret Invasion, and Agatha: House of Harkness. Since the streamer's launch, we've gotten a lot of movies and TV shows about the universe of the Fantastic Four, The Winter Soldier, What If, Hawkeye, and Moon Knight. We will bring you more on Ironheart when we learn it, as these shows have shuffled around before.
