Zion missed the entire season with a foot injury, and there is a recurring theme here. The franchise needs him to quickly get on track, even though he has been injured. In his first three years in the NBA, he missed over 50 games. In a possible 226 games, he has played in just 85.

Zion needs to get healthy if he wants to go somewhere else. It all goes together. He averaged 27 points per game and 7.2 rebound when he played last season. The kid can hit a ball. He needs to get past his injuries and become the star the Pelicans envisioned when they drafted him.

Early in his career,Joel Embiid had a similar issue with foot injuries. During his first two years as a professional, he didn't play a single game. He's an All-NBA selection, an All-Star, and could win the Most Valuable Player trophy this year. There is still hope in New Orleans.
