The video of San Francisco police officers pulling over a self-driving taxi is hilarious.

The video was filmed in San Francisco'sRichmond district and shows officers driving up behind a parked vehicle and then having it leap forward and pull over again.

The bystanders can be heard laughing and shouting "what the fuck" as the police officers circle the car, trying to figure out what to do with it.

Cruise Control

CNBC reported that people who want to try out the service have to join a waiting list, though the company started offering free rides to the public earlier this year.

When confronted by law enforcement, therobotaxi did what it was supposed to, according to Cruise. Cruise told CNBC that the SFPD have a dedicated number to call when its officers pull over the company's robotaxis.

The police officer contacted Cruise personnel and no citation was issued.

It's time we get used to this kind of humor and hope it doesn't happen again, given that this GM subsidiary is just the first of at least two self driving taxi services to hit the Bay Area.
